I found the information below on the Natomas Charter School’s website.

“The Natomas Charter School’s Drama Department is proud to introduce its latest work: TheatreFest 2012. TheatreFest 2012 is an all-day, student-produced theatre festival featuring the work of Natomas Charter School’s talented acting and directing students. There will be 17 short productions, each piece no more than 15 minutes long, broken into four distinct acts. Come for one act, or come for all four! Enjoy tales of love, loss, regret, hardship, and murder! The event will be held on May 19th from 12 pm to 5 pm at the Blackbox Theatre (4600 Blackrock Dr. Sacramento, CA 95835). Admission is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.”

River Cats rev up Taylor School

River Cats rev up Taylor School

“I Can! I Will! Succeed!” That was the message that students at Taylor Street Elementary School heard from Tony Asaro, Community Relations Spokesperson for the Sacramento Rivercats on Tuesday morning.

Tuesday’s event celebrated the kick-off of state testing of 2nd-6th grade students at Taylor Street Elementary. The Sacramento Rivercats sponsor school programs centered on the AAA theme of “Attitude, Attendance and Academics” and that theme was emphasized to students as they were encouraged to believe in themselves and do their best not only on the test but in all aspects of their lives.

Over the next two weeks students will be testing in English-Language Arts, Math and Science.

Go Taylor Bears!

Cal Kendal Memorial Golf Tournament May 19

Cal Kendal Memorial Golf Tournament May 19

Come enjoy a great day of golf in the beauty of the Lincoln Hills Club, only 35 minutes away from downtown Sacramento.

We will be having several Hole-in-One prizes, a "Silent Auction", and Raffle Prizes. Raffle Prize tickets will be available at check-in and on the course. We also appreciate any donations of items for the raffles and “Silent Auctions”.

It is our goal this year to double our proceeds from the past years in order to meet the demands that we are anticipating next year due to further cuts in educational funding from the State.

Please call John at 916-922-6386 and join in the fun.
